Xiangling Kong became head of iBooks development at Sponholtz Productions, LLC in the winter of 2011. During his time at Sponholtz Productions, he has been in charge of converting Sponholtz Productions products to a hybrid of written text with review/reinforcement videos using the iBooks Author software for the iTunes store. Xiangling Kong was born in Tangshan, China and attended schools in Canada, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
